Showin' Some Love

Two of my local MCRW chapter members, Missy Lyons and Cherie Denis, have co-authored an erotic contemporary western novella called COWBOYS DON'T DANCE. Missy has already published several stories, but this is Cherie's first published work, and I'm so excited to see her achieve the first of what will be many stories. It's due out this week, Thursday October 29.

I haven't read it yet, but I want to help get the word out and hope they have mega sales over at Siren Publishing.

Manic Readers New Web Site and Plus Membership Services

I was approached earlier this week by Manic Readers to beta test and help promote their new web site and author services. For this I've received a free six month membership. I have to reveal this due to current FTC rules. Don't you just love those rules.

Since I have an upcoming release and I was already looking for some lower cost ways to promote it, this sounded like a very good deal. I already had a free author page at Manic Readers and had just updated it in the last couple of weeks, so I thought 'why not'?

Woo Hoo! New Official Cover Art for Seducing the Sheriff

Finally I can share the sensational cover art for SEDUCING THE SHERIFF done by Angela Waters for my upcoming Samhain Publishing release. December 15th, just in case you've forgotten. It's an erotic historical western category length novel and quite a change from my contemporary romantic suspense. There's a bit of a suspense element, too, never fear.

The male cover model is the gorgeous Jimmy Thomas of Romance Novel Covers. He's graced dozens of covers and I'm so fortunate to have him on one of mine.

Just an FYI and to whet your appetite more, I can tell you the cover model on SEDUCING THE SHERIFF is Jimmy Thomas. In case you haven't seen him before or knew who he was when you saw his HAWT body on one of the many, many covers he's done, he has a web site. Just click on the link above, and you'll see what I mean.

It turns out he saw the cover, and he's very excited by how well it turned out. He e-mailed me from MySpace and he was like an excited kid. I say kid because he's younger than my son, and I'm way too old and mature to lust over him, but he is a mighty fine looking young man.

BTW, in spite of the rules of not posting the cover art, I've sneaked it in a couple of places, and if you check out my web site, you might just find the preliminary cover. ;-)

Covert Art for Seducing the Sheriff

Good News and Bad News: I've just seen the preliminary cover art for SEDUCING THE SHERIFF. It's totally HAWT! I love it as it stands. That's the good part. The bad news is I can't show it until the final version is approved and posted to Samhain's web site. I'll be back in about a month or sooner to post it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for sooner. I will say it has a real sexy hunk and is quite romantic.
